At Patatas Fritas Sarriegui, we are committed to sustainability and reducing environmental impact at every stage of our production process. To achieve this, we follow a series of responsible practices focused on using local ingredients, energy efficiency, and rigorous waste management.
Use of locally sourced ingredients and production process optimization
1. National Origin Potatoes
We use potatoes grown in Spain, allowing us to reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation and ensure the freshness of the raw material.
2. Sustainable and Local Oils
We work with oils sourced from the mainland with sustainability certifications. These oils, in addition to being more stable, generate less waste during production.
3. Oil Reuse and Valorization
We implement a system for filtering and reusing oil, maintaining it at a controlled temperature to maximize its efficiency and reduce waste.
Once its life cycle is over, the oil is collected by certified companies for conversion into biodiesel, promoting the circular economy.
4. Energy Efficiency and Equipment Modernization
